PuttVision transforms your putter and a real ball into a game controller.
Place your phone on a tripod, facing the ball. Aim at the hole from the
view behind the ball, then putt—for real, with your usual stroke.
The camera measures the speed and direction of your shot, and the ball leaves the
green exactly as you hit it. Too short, too hard, a
little to the right: it's your putt, not a simulation.
WHAT MAKES PUTTVISION DIFFERENT
There's no power meter to stop at the right moment, no swiping
your finger across the screen. The only way to sink a putt is to putt well.
MEASUREMENT
• Speed and direction read directly on your ball's trajectory
• High-frame-rate camera capture, up to 120 frames per second
• Roll calibrated on the Stimpmeter: set the speed of your green and the ball will roll the correct distance
• The starting angle tells you if you're putting straight, to the degree
SIX HOLES
From the most direct to the most winding: elbow, zigzag, hook, horseshoe, snake. Each has its own par, and the score is kept just like in golf. Create your own course with the holes of your choice.
WHAT YOU NEED
• A putter and a golf ball
• A tripod or a stand to prop your phone horizontally
• A few meters of carpet, putting green, or green
PuttVision works without an account, registration, or internet connection. The camera images are used solely to measure your putt: they are neither recorded nor transmitted.
Putt a real ball: the camera measures it, it rolls on your green.
